This is part one of my interview with local Kingston Artist Joanne Gervais. Her website is www.joannegervais.com. Joanne Gervais is one of the most earnest, prolific, and hard-working artists in Kingston. In this interview she discusses different styles of work, offers advice for emerging artists, and grants us a taste of her perspective on various artistic subjects. For the rest of August and possibly into September you'll be able to view her artwork in great profusion at 109 Princess Street in Kingston. One of the best pieces of advice that I could give anyone who wants to know more about art and especially the business side of art is to get to know Joanne Gervais.
